We present Monte Carlo simulation results for the dynamical critical exponent z of the two-dimensional kinetic Ising model using a lattice of size 106×106 spins. We used Glauber as well as Metropolis dynamics. We study the site-diluted Ising model in two dimensions with Monte Carlo simulations. Using nite-size scaling techniques we compute the critical exponents observing deviations from the pure Ising ones. The diierences can be explained as the eeects of logarithmic corrections, without requiring to change the Universality Class.
